Registered Clinical Counsellors

Kathryn McInroy (she/her)
MEd, RCC, CT, RP, ADHD-CCSP
Owner & Clinical Director

Kathryn believes that counselling is a collaborative process between the client and their counsellor, and treats the relationship as a partnership. She uses a strengths-based and solution-focused approach to help her clients move toward their goals. She practices from an anti-oppressive and trauma informed lens, and welcomes clients of all races, sexual orientations, and gender identities.

Ann Downie (she/her)
MEd, RCC

Ann offers counselling for parenting challenges, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, and trauma. She helps clients move through life changes, burnout, and stress. She prioritizes warmth, compassion, openness, and curiosity in her work with clients, with a focus on supporting client self-discovery and personal agency. Ann offers individual counselling to youth (16+), adults, couples, and families. She offers in person therapy in Victoria, BC and virtual counselling to clients across BC.

Gretal Montgomery (she/her)
MA, RCC, ADHD-CCSP

Gretal helps clients to explore, understand, and resolve issues causing discomfort or concern in their life. She supports her clients to develop a deeper understanding of personal agency, values, inner gifts, and strengths. She offers ADHD-informed care and has extensive training in supporting neurodiverse clients. Gretal offers individual counselling to youth (12+) and adults. She identifies as a culturally responsive counsellor and offers inclusive counselling services to clients of all sexual and gender identities/expressions.

Shauna Burns-Thomson (she/her)
MSc, RCC

Shauna provides inclusive, collaborative and trauma-informed counselling supports to adults. The focus areas of her practice are healthy sexual development, stress and related disorders, and trauma. Her goal is to help clients live their best, most fulfilling life possible. She supports individuals, couples, and partners in non-traditional relationships.

Kayla Fleming (she/her)
MC, RCC, ADHD-CCSP

Kayla offers a calm space when things feel chaotic and compassion when her clients are feeling vulnerable. Her expertise lies in working with couples using the Gottman Method to address harmful relationship dynamics and have a deeper and more meaningful relationship. Kayla also specializes in working with parents to understand challenging behaviours, support their child’s development, and work through parenting struggles. She provides ADHD-informed care to her clients.

Jennifer Mussell (she/her)
BSW, MSc, RSW, RCC, C.Hyp

With a client-centered, trauma-informed, and inclusive approach at the core of her practice, Jennifer’s expertise extends across a spectrum of challenges including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career concerns, loss, parenting and caregiving, and substance use. She works with adult clients (18+) on an individual basis.

Emmalee Brunt (she/her)
MACP, RCC

Emmalee provides trauma-informed therapy to clients of all gender identities, sexual orientations, spiritual affiliations and races. Her work with clients focuses on relationships, parenting, aging, critical and terminal illness, and grief and loss. She provides support with anxiety, depression, addiction and sleep issues. Emmalee has experience supporting neurodivergent clients, and provides ADHD-informed care.She offers in person counselling in Victoria, BC.

Kathryn Dale (she/her)
MSW, RSW, RCC

Kathryn works with clients struggling with difficult life transitions, including separation and divorce, a new health diagnosis, becoming a caregiver, and loss of a loved one. She also works with clients experiencing symptoms of depression and anxiety. She supports adults in individual sessions.

Bob Bircher (he/him)
MA, RCC

Bob’s counselling philosophy is practical, assisting people in identifying solutions to their problems and motivating them to make the changes. Using his training in the Gottman Method, he helps couples improve or repair their relationships. He also supports separated partners succeed in shared parenting. His work with individuals focuses on life transitions, grief/loss, and relationship ambivalence.

Andee Dale (she/her)
MA, RCC-ACS, CT, ADHD-CCSP

Andee works with people on a variety of challenges, including mental health, addiction, trauma, grief and loss, stress and parenting. She provides hands on strategies to help clients navigate day to day distress and supports them to develop skills to meet their goals. Andee specializes in counselling for clients struggling with food addiction, emotional eating, disordered eating, and eating disorders.

Christina McGill (she/her)
MA, RCC, ADHD-CCSP

Christina supports those experiencing anxiety, depression, distressing thoughts, relationship/family conflict, and individuals/couples in need of parenting support. She has extensive experience working with people who have experienced trauma. She offers space for clients to feel deeply understood and validated while addressing the challenges that interfere with their ability to live their best life. She works with adult clients (18+).

Jenny Harris (she/her)
Counselling Student Intern

Jenny offers affordable virtual counselling services to clients in Victoria and across BC. She works with clients wanting to set goals, make decisions, and explore solutions. Jenny can help with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, parenting, boundary setting, life transitions, healthy relationship skills, and self-empowerment work. She works with both individuals (18+) and couples.

Hailey Roy (she/her)
Counselling Student Intern

Hailey offers reduced fee counselling on Vancouver Island and across BC. She offers a supportive environment to explore change, identify desired steps, and take action toward preferred outcomes. She offers ADHD-adapted counselling support, and can help with relationship concerns, grief and loss, life changes, anxiety, depression and stress management. She works with individuals (18+).

Michelle Hackett (she/her)
Counselling Student Intern

Michelle provides affordable virtual counselling services to clients on Vancouver Island and across BC. She helps clients explore new possibilities, gain awareness, reduce emotional suffering, and feel empowered to strive toward their fullest potential. Michelle can help clients with academic and work stress, coping with uncertainty, anxiety, motivation, perfectionism, and more. She works with individuals (18+).
