Our Team

Hailey is a Counselling Student Intern offering affordable phone and video/virtual counselling services to adults across British Columbia.

Hailey offers an encouraging space for clients beginning to consider making changes in their lives. She acknowledges the courage it takes to seek counselling and believes that within each individual is the strength to achieve their goals and live their lives to the fullest. From this place, Hailey offers a supportive environment to explore change, identify desired steps, and take action toward preferred outcomes.

She focuses on supporting clients who are having difficulty navigating life changes and decisions, including new relationships, pregnancy, and education transitions. She can help with relationship concerns, infidelity, and relationship breakdown. She offers support navigating parenthood and can help with parent-teen conflict. Hailey has experience helping clients with mental health concerns, including depression and anxiety, and stress management. She also has a background supporting clients with ADHD and can provide ADHD-adapted services. Hailey has experience working in a palliative care context and is able to support clients with processing death, dying, grief and loss.

She approaches her work from a trauma-informed, strengths-based and solution-focused lens. Hailey uses cognitive behavioural (CBT), emotionally focused (EFT), acceptance and commitment (ACT), and narrative therapy in her counselling work.

Hailey brings years of experience as a Registered Social Worker to her practice. She has a worked in youth justice, mental health and substance use, crisis management and palliative care environments, and is currently completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She is a Student Member of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).

Our Counselling Student Intern program allows Gravitate Counselling Inc. to offer low-cost, affordable counselling to clients across Vancouver Island and the rest of BC.
