Emmalee Brunt (she/her)
Registered Clinical Counsellor

Emmalee offers in person counselling in Victoria, BC, as well as phone and online video counselling sessions for clients across British Columbia. She works with individual clients and families.

Emmalee operates from a client-centred approach, meaning she works collaboratively with each person to explore their individual goals, challenges and strengths. Each session is tailored to the client's specific needs to offer tangible and realistic change strategies. Emmalee helps clients learn techniques to reduce distress, regulate emotions, navigate life transitions and improve communication. 

She provides counselling services for people seeking support with relationships, intimacy, family dynamics, parenting, aging, life transitions, personal identity, critical and terminal illness, and grief and loss. She also helps clients struggling with stress, depression, anxiety, addictions, and sleep problems. She has specialized training in trauma-informed therapy and operates from a culturally-sensitive and inclusive lens. She welcomes clients from all gender identities, sexual orientations, spiritual affiliations and races. 

Emmalee has experience supporting neurodivergent clients, and provides ADHD-informed care.

Emmalee offers counselling therapy using a multi-faceted approach, including family systems therapy, emotionally focused therapy, trauma-informed therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy and narrative therapy.

Emmalee has 11 years of experience providing support, resources and counselling for adults, families, children and youth in the Greater Victoria area. She graduated from the Master of Counselling program at City University is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.

Rate: $140+GST per 50 minute session
$225+ GST per 80 minute session
