Clinical Consultation for Therapists
Support, clarity, and collaboration for therapists across Canada.
Support Designed for Therapists
As therapists, we know the work can be both deeply meaningful and deeply complex. Clinical consultation offers space to reflect, receive support, refine your therapeutic approach, and feel grounded in the work you are doing with clients.
We provide clinical consultation for practicing Registered Clinical Counsellors in BC, Registered Psychotherapists in Ontario, and counsellors and therapists across Canada.
Whether you're navigating ethical dilemmas, experiencing uncertainty about your approach to a specific client, expanding into a new clinical area, or simply wanting a thoughtful second opinion, consultation offers a safe, supportive place to learn, consider, and grow.

Consultation As Our Focus
Clinical consultation for counsellors and therapists in Canada differs from clinical supervision in important ways.
Unlike supervision, consultation is designed to support your professional growth, deepen clinical reasoning, and provide a collaborative space to explore complex cases without evaluation, oversight, or mandatory documentation.
At Gravitate, our focus is on clinical consultation with practicing Registered Clinical Counsellors, Registered Psychotherapists, Counselling Therapists, Registered Psychologists, and other registered clinicians.
Clinical Consultation
Clinical consultation offers a collaborative, supportive space where therapists can explore complex cases, reflect on their role, and strengthen clinical reasoning. You remain fully in control of client care, with no evaluation, oversight, or documentation requirements. Flexible and voluntary, consultation is entirely focused on building your confidence, expanding your skills, and supporting professional growth. It’s an invaluable resource for therapists seeking guidance, new perspectives, and practical solutions in their work.
Clinical Supervision
Clinical supervision is a structured, formal relationship designed to meet licensing or training requirements. It involves direct oversight of clinical work, competency development tied to formal training, and mandatory documentation or agreements. Supervision is evaluative and regulated, often required for students or qualifying therapists, and focuses on ensuring compliance, maintaining professional standards, assessing performance, and providing formal accountability rather than collaboration or reflective guidance.
